The story:
The image that started it all. This photo was taken in Espoo, Finland. I had just arrived in Finland and the lake at the back of my Airbnb was beginning to freeze over. One morning I woke up to find it perfectly blanketed in snow and the locals were ice skating across to get their groceries and children were playing ice-hockey with their neighbors. It was truly magical.
