I’m Kelly - the Yarra Valley Photographer capturing your beautiful and crazy family as it is now. As a mum myself, I know just how fast they grow up and how treasured each and every photo is. Especially the few ones that I’m actually in. Because if there’s one thing I know it’s that mums - we are not in enough of the photos!
My style is relaxed and natural; both in the way that I work with you and your kids, but also in the finished product. I offer prompts to guide interactions between you that leads to genuine emotion, connection and playfulness that I capture.
The sessions are actually…. FUN!
No awkward poses, no staged smiles, just real emotion and connection.
At the end of the session my families have had a fun time together. Off screens, in the outdoors, connecting, laughing and loving one another. After all - that’s what it’s all about… isn’t it?!
WHAT’S THE PROCESS?

The first step, honestly.. is to do your research. Just like you’re doing now. Check out my work, what I offer, my pricing and get a gauge for my vibe (I’m big on vibe) to see if we’re a good fit. Once you’re ready to book me, or if you have a few more questions, get in touch. When you’re ready I’ll send you my availability and you’ll be able to select your preferred time and location.
3. PRE-SESSION
All my clients will receive a style and session guide containing tailored information about what to wear and how to prepare to make the most of your session. I’ll also send you a questionnaire and we will have a short consult so that I can get to know you, your family, your motivation for booking the session and what you are hoping to do with the photos.
5. POST-SESSION
2. BOOK IN YOUR SESSION
Select the date, time and location of your shoot. Once you pay the session fee which is a non refundable retainer and sign the contract, we have a date!
Then it’s time to plan outfits, start pinteresting and get excited.
4. DURING THE SESSION
We meet on location, I take the lead and provide all the direction and prompting required. I’ll let you in on a secret- most people feel awkward being in front of the camera but one of my specialties is helping you feel right at ease in the first 5 minutes. Your session will last between 60-90 minutes and we will have heaps of fun!
